- Extend beyond mere econometrics
- Partner with clients throughout their journey
What Competitors Do:
- Produce dry ROI results
- Use a predetermined and automated structure
- Operate as a “black box” with limited transparency
- Lack innovative thinking, data, and tools
- Focus solely on project delivery
How do you work with agencies?
We partner with other like minded independent agencies who are interested in offering their clients unabridged and unadulterated independent effectiveness readings, and then we help them and the clients optimise their media to maximise their clients sales.
Ultimately the end goal is the same – what is the best thing to do for the client’s growth.
What benefits do clients typically get from a project?
All our projects are bespoke and built to answer the clients’ key questions. This empowers our clients with insights to drive growth and drives confidence to make better informed business decisions. Our final project meetings are loaded with actionable insights and recommendations to enable you to embed insights into the business. IMS also have benchmarks based on hundreds of analytics projects to give guidance on how a change or investment could impact your business.
Usually the two hero questions are:
- What do I get back for my investment?
- How can I improve the outcomes more in the future?
Our top insights typically include:
- What are the key drivers of my business?
- How is marketing impacting our business?
- What is the ROI of marketing by channel/campaign?
- How much more can we invest into marketing before hitting diminishing returns?
- How can we optimise our marketing budgets?
- When is the best time to advertise?
- How will a price change impact our business?
- What is the impact of a new product launch?
- How will a store opening or pop up store impact our business?
- How might a new channel (or strategic) change impact our business?
- Are there synergy impacts of running multiple channels together?
- What is the base level of our business?
- What is the impact of external factors such as the economy or seasonal events?
What is the average ROI from a project?
The average IMS project ROI for an MMM project is 30x times the project fee.
How long does an MMM project take?
MMM projects timelines are dependent on the project scope. However, most first time projects take around eight weeks from receipt of all data. Project updates can often be faster due to time efficiencies around data capture and process.
How long does a Geo Test take?
A typical Geo-Test takes around six weeks from end to end. Including test design analysis, media implementation, results and ROIs.
How often do clients undertake MMM analysis?
We work with clients in the way which makes most sense for their business. Typically, most clients undertake MMM once or twice per year. This can be dependent on factors including the dynamics of the marketplace, annual planning, marketing budgets, competitor activity and the importance of other business changes.
Do we have to be technical to understand analytics?
No, a technical background is not necessary! IMS work with a broad range of clients with different levels of technical knowledge. Some of our clients like to be hands on with the analysis and other clients prefer to focus more on the project insights and outcomes and let us handle the analytics. We can run the project in the way which works best for your stakeholder needs.
How can we embed findings into our organisation?
One of our key pillars is to focus on actionable outcomes: our debriefs come fully loaded with a range of actions and recommendations to help you make better decisions and drive growth. We also offer a range of simulators and analytics tools to drive data culture and embed insights into your organisation. IMS can also provide analytics education and consulting to help educate and empower your employees.
